Biography:

My 36 year career as a hairstylist includes over 12 years spent as a Stylist and Teacher for the world renowned Vidal Sassoon Salons and Academies. During my career with Sassoon's I worked as Stylist and Teacher in 3 of their salons; Beverly Hills, Chicago, San Francisco . In each location I developed busy clienteles as well as training salon assistants.

Following my career with Sassoon's I joined Bumble and Bumble in New York City in order to develop my skills in razor cutting and editorial styling. I worked for 5 years as a Stylist and Teacher in Bumble's downtown salon and Bumble Academy.

My partner and I currently reside in Portland, Oregon, where we enjoy the many beautiful aspects of the Pacific Northwest.

Hair-cutting:

My haircutting technique is strongly based in the Vidal Sassoon method of precision cutting. This means attention to detail. I craft each look to compliment your natural texture, enhance your best features, and make styling effortless. I am highly experienced in working with every hair texture imaginable, from extremely fine to thick, curly, and unruly.

Color:

Whether I'm creating rich, natural looking color, or the latest fashion trend, all of my color services are designed to compliment your skin tone and eye color, as well as your haircut/style. I require all new color clients to have an in-person consultation in the salon before booking color services.

Scalp and Hair Conditioning:

I believe that optimum hair health begins with a healthy scalp. My botanical based Scalp Treatments act to exfoliate, nourish, and stimulate the scalp and hair follicle. Specially formulated hair treatments replenish moisture, strengthen, and prevent Keratin degeneration. 

Styling and Formal Event Services:

Need a quick blow-dry? Or an up-do for a special event? Whatever the occasion, my styling services provide you with luxurious hair, whether up or down.
